Motaung facing more charges

Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung will appear in the Nelspruit Magistrate Court today.
The Amakhosi official was initially arrested by the Hawks in August last year over alleged tender irregularities related to the construction of the R1-billion Mbombela Stadium ahead of the 2010 World Cup.
Motaung and his business partners were charged with fraud, but they will now be facing an additional count of corruption. He was reportedly arrested in court on Friday relating to the new charge and he was released on R15,000 bail.
This adds to the R50,000 bail Motaung, together with co-accused Herbert Theledi and Chris Grib, paid to be released on bail last year.
